Flaming June features co-production credits from German DJ and producer Paul van Dyk and was remixed by Chicane. The title of the song seems unconnected with the well-known 1895 painting of the same name. According to BT, he got the name from a cab driver on his way to a recording studio who commented that it was "Flaming June", referring to the particularly hot weather that day.
