- Jonah Hex: Where's Rip?
- Sara Lance: He's MIA.
- Jonah Hex: Damn. How the hell did you miscreants manage not to get yourselves killed without him?
- Amaya Jiwe: Miss Lance has been serving as captain.
- Jonah Hex: But she's a lady. You're a lady, right?
- Sara Lance: You know I can take your life as easy I saved it.
- Jonah Hex: Oh, fiery. Whoever breaks her is in for a wild ride.
- Mick Rory: Too bad this filly's into other fillies.
- Mick Rory: [laughs]
- Jonah Hex: You don't say.
- Ray Palmer: Uh, actually, there's something I've been working on before I start building a new exo-suit. It's, uh, not exactly what was in your drawing. I made a few improvements.
- [uncovers Nate's costume]
- Nate Heywood: Shut the front door.
- Ray Palmer: Yeah. I figured you earned it. Steel.
- Nate Heywood: Cool name.
- Nate Heywood: I just thought becoming a superhero, I would spend less time in the library than my old job. So...
- Ray Palmer: Well, research skills are kind of a superpower. And you can turn to steel. You got two.
- Gideon: The bullet has lodged itself between several of Dr. Heywood's internal organs.
- Ray Palmer: How's that possible? He's made of steel.
- Sara Lance: Because it wasn't a normal bullet. It was dwarf star.
- Gideon: I estimate his chance of survival at 51%.
- Nate Heywood: Ugh, would it kill you to say "better than average", Gideon?
- Sara Lance: [to Nate] You, Jax and Ray stop the train. The rest of us will deal with Turnbull.
- Jonah Hex: Are you sure about this?
- Sara Lance: Of course. This isn't my first rodeo.
- Ray Palmer: Ugh. I wanted to say that.
- Ray Palmer: [see's drawing that Nate did] Did you draw your own superhero costume?
- Nate Heywood: Absolutely not, yeah I did.
- Amaya Jiwe: Your plans are caught in something of a snag.
- Sara Lance: Explain.
- Amaya Jiwe: Well, it's hard to... but Mr. Rory and Mr. Turnbull... Like each other.
- Sara Lance: What? What happened to Rory starting a fight?
- Amaya Jiwe: I think it's more likely him and Turnbull get matching tattoos.
- Jefferson Jackson: What if when you interacted with your younger self in 1987, you...
- Dr. Martin Stein: Inadvertently changed my past so-so that my memories from my new life are supplanting the memories from my old life, that's creating temporal dissonance.
- Jefferson Jackson: Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking.
- Dr. Martin Stein: Oh, it's a brilliant theory, which I happen to share with you, but it doesn't explain...
- Jefferson Jackson: Who the mystery lady is.
- Dr. Martin Stein: Or... that I'm fairly certain that I love her.
- Jefferson Jackson: Man, Clarissa is gonna kill you when you get home.
- Dr. Martin Stein: Assuming that there is a Clarissa to go home to.
- Jonah Hex: Is this what it's like working with a woman? You just sit around and talk about your feelings.
- Sara Lance: Well, if your feelings are what almost got you hung, then yeah, I'd say they are worth talking about.
- Sara Lance: [over the comm. device] Amaya, what's going on in there?
- Amaya Jiwe: You wanted Rory to start a fight? I'd say your plan's working.
- Jefferson Jackson: Man, these clothes smell like ass. People didn't wash in the Wild, Wild West?
- Ray Palmer: Well, we're criminals, remember? It's important to smell the part.
- Amaya Jiwe: I happen to know a thing or two about animals. They're not vicious by nature unless they're attacked.
- Amaya Jiwe: It really is beautiful. It's no wonder that human beings have worshipped fire for millennia. Fire gives us life, but also has the power to destroy everything in its path.
- Mick Rory: Your point?
- [other comments]
- Amaya Jiwe: You were right. The animal who wants to watch the world burn, that is who you are. But it's not all that you are.
- Mick Rory: Your point?
- Amaya Jiwe: Don't deny the animal. But don't let it control you either.
