- Rene Ramirez: You wanted to see me, hoss?
- Quentin Lance: Yeah. First, close the door.
- [Rene shuts the door]
- Quentin Lance: Second, what have I told you about calling me "hoss"?
- Rene Ramirez: "Don't."
- Quentin Lance: Right.
- Dinah Drake: [fighting off a Helix mercenary] Don't grab a woman unless you have permission, dumbass.
- Rene Ramirez: What do you want from me, man?
- Quentin Lance: An explanation. I looked at your case, and you have full visitation rights as long as you're accompanied by a court-appointed guardian. But there's no record of you ever visiting.
- Rene Ramirez: Please, just leave this alone, man.
- Quentin Lance: I think we both know I'm not gonna, so why don't we just skip to the part where you tell me why you do not want to see your daughter.
- Rene Ramirez: Okay. When Curtis told me about his lawyer friend, I got excited, okay?
- Quentin Lance: Yeah, yeah. All right. And then what happened?
- Rene Ramirez: I remembered why they took Zoe away from me in the first place. Yeah, sure, I... I could visit her with a court-appointed guardian like you said. You want to know why that is? 'Cause I'm bad news.
- Quentin Lance: Yeah, you're an acquired taste, for sure.
- Rene Ramirez: I hurt her!
- Quentin Lance: What do you mean you hurt her?
- Rene Ramirez: I was reheating some soup for her. It was just about all I could make her. And it was on the stove, and I pass out drunk. Poor Zoe, she's trying to grab it and pulls it down and it burns her hand, real bad. And it was her crying that woke me up. Zoe deserves better than me. End of story.
- Felicity Smoak: You helped me unmask Chase. Now I need your help trying to find the bastard.
- Alena: Well, from what you've told me, they've got Homeland Security, the FBI, and A.R.G.U.S. working on this.
- Felicity Smoak: Yeah, and last night Chase played them like "Maximum Force".
- Alena: I used to love that game.
- Felicity Smoak: I know. I do, too. Apparently it's seen better days.
- Rene Ramirez: Are you firing me?
- Quentin Lance: Oh, Rene, there was a time when I would have loved to hear you ask me that, but no, I am not firing you. I want to talk to you about... Zoe. Yeah, your daughter.
- Rene Ramirez: Yeah, I know her name, hoss. I thought I told you I don't want to talk about her.
- Quentin Lance: Well, that's too bad, 'cause you happen to be working for a guy who would give anything to be with his daughter again.
- John Diggle: What did Felicity mean when she made that crack about you crossing a line?
- Lyla Michaels: I can't even begin to fathom the amount of crap that Helix has put into Felicity's head, Johnny.
- John Diggle: But Lyla, holding Kaden James without due process, that's not a bunch of crap.
- Lyla Michaels: Kaden James is twenty times more dangerous than Snowden. We caught him trying to hack an A.R.G.U.S. transponder. If he got in, every NOC agent we have could be at risk.
- John Diggle: Sounds a whole lot like Amanda Waller.
- Lyla Michaels: Waller's decisions seem a lot less wrong from this side of the desk, Johnny. You can't judge me for that.
- John Diggle: I'm not judging. I'm just worried. Felicity Smoak is one of the best people I've ever known, and she's gone over to the dark side. I don't want that to happen to my wife.
- Dinah Drake: What do you want to do about Felicity?
- Oliver Queen: There is nothing to do. She put herself in front of a bullet in order to take down Chase. 'Till that happens, I don't know what to say to her.
- John Diggle: If Lyla and Felicity are willing to cross the line...
- Oliver Queen: ...It makes you wonder if there even is a line.
- John Diggle: We have to get Felicity to leave Helix--we can't let her get involved in this.
- Oliver Queen: You mean any *more* involved. We knew she was into something--we knew it was bad. We just let her get in deeper.
- John Diggle: Oliver, grief can make people do crazy things--no one knows that better than you and me... But I'm not the one she was gonna marry.
- Oliver Queen: [Oliver pauses to process his statement, then slowly looks at Diggle sternly] What's your point?
- John Diggle: My point is... Oliver, look. Maybe we should've talked her out of Helix, maybe not. I don't know, but the point is we're here now, and you're the only one she'll listen to.
- Oliver Queen: I'm not sure how much credibility I have with her.
- John Diggle: You both wanna catch Chase, right? You have that in common, which tells me you are the only one who can pull her back from the brink.
- [Oliver nods in agreement]
- Oliver Queen: [Oliver slowly walks in] Looks like you're not sitting behind a keyboard for this one.
- Felicity Smoak: Can you blame me?
- Oliver Queen: I, more than probably anyone else, understand what it's like to be willing to do whatever it takes to stop Chase.
- Felicity Smoak: Then let me do it.
- Oliver Queen: Let me jus tell you how I'm seeing things. You're willing to do whatever it takes to stop Chase because I was willing to do whatever it takes to save this city... And that created him.
- Felicity Smoak: Okay, so it's ironic. That's what it is.
- Oliver Queen: It doesn't have to be. You see, we can think of another way to find him, and then we can find another way to stop him.
- Felicity Smoak: Okay, how? The SCPD tip line? No, that's not gonna work this time, Oliver. We both know that. Look, this is our only chance.
- Oliver Queen: And this is me asking you... Don't do this.
- Felicity Smoak: For the past four years, I have watched you do whatever you had to, whatever i took to stop the people threatening this city. How can you stand there and not ask me to do the same thing?
- Oliver Queen: Because over the past four years, you, more than anyone else has seen the toll that it has taken on me.
- Felicity Smoak: And I told you...
- Oliver Queen: --And I understand--I agree that I should not shelter you from making hard decisions, but you wanna talk irony? Fine. You were willing to sell your soul to destroy a threat that I created. How do...
- Felicity Smoak: One of the reasons I fell in love with you is because you were always willing to do what was right, no matter what the cost, even if it's unbearably hard. It's what makes you, you. So how can I be any different? You have scarified your soul for team, for the city, and for me. You don't have to carry that burden any longer. Let me do it.
- Oliver Queen: Felicity, I-- I can't.
- Felicity Smoak: Then you'll have to stop me.
- [Oliver nods in understanding]
- Oliver Queen: Is that it?
- Felicity Smoak: Yep.
- Oliver Queen: James' magic tracker to find Chase?
- Felicity Smoak: Biometric tracker, yes...
- Oliver Queen: Nobody from A.R.G.U.S. was seriously injured, in case you were wondering.
- Felicity Smoak: Helix froze me out. It's over.
- Oliver Queen: I'm sorry.
- Oliver Queen: I thought you were never going to lie to me again.
- Felicity Smoak: I'm not lying--I'm sorry. I know that they gave you a sense of belonging that maybe I haven't, uh...
- Felicity Smoak: No. You didn't back my play.
- Oliver Queen: I-- I was worried.
- Felicity Smoak: You don't trust me.
- [Oliver clasps his hands in frustration at the idea of her thinking that]
- Felicity Smoak: After all these years, all of the times that I supported you, even when I didn't agree, you couldn't do the same for me.
- Felicity Smoak: [Felicity opens the front door of her loft to find Oliver standing there about to knock] Nice of you to use the front door for once.
- Felicity Smoak: 35 I'm sorry, I really am. I'm really hoping you will understand once we get Cayden James.
- Oliver Queen: Don't count on it.
