Franz Kafka is, from the high school years, my favorite author. The Judgment is my favorit short story by him. This adaptation is one opening the door to the essence of text. About deep loneless and insecurity, fear and illusion. Not only in inspired manne, r but with great precise delicacy, from the cinematography to the performances. Because the role of father has a good actor and the vulnerability of Georg becomes more than realistic. . A short film about the fragile world of Georg Bendemann. And about the word of his father who becomes the only axis of a long confusion. A beautiful adaptation.
