Well-constructed all-girl feature

Jim Powers proves to be a talented jack of all trades, creating this Sapphic romance that is one of the better Filly Films releases of recent years. All those years of gonzo filmmaking, boy/girl action and more recently transsexual sagas didn't make him too jaded to handle softer, more sensual content.

Instead of the expected vignettes, we have an integrated story, centering on young Riley Reid's uncertainty about her sexual identity. She has a current girl friend, stunning redhead Jayme Langford, and her roommates Rilynn Rae and Shyla Ryder are a lesbian couple, but RR doesn't know how she fits in.

Her break-up with Jayme sets in motion the story, beginning with Jayme independently humping the always desirable Raven Rockette outdoors near a water tower at Jayme's parents' remote ranch. Director Powers makes good use of aerial shots (from drones it would seem) to set the stage and create atmosphere.

Several subplots are carefully knitted together, including Jayme having a threesome with young things Amanda Lane and Taylor May, leading to Riley finally finding her amorous partner, hopefully for a long-time relationship, in exotic good samaritan Nikki Hearts.

This is quality craftsmanship I don't ordinarily find in Filly Films' usual rough & ready approach, and I'll be checking out other Powers for Filly shows (like "Lesbian Jailbirds") to see if he can keep the quality coming.
