loved it.

Taken from the original novel of the same name by Naguib Mahfouz, it's a story about a group of theatre actors made to play roles about their reality. And as the writer digs deeper into their real stories, you start to amazingly witness the denial as almost everyone refuses to admit the reality of their actions and decisions.

I loved watching how the same events differ when told from the perspective of different characters. But because telling the same complicated story with different details every time without confusing the viewer is not an easy job, at some point, the series stopped feeling as wholesome and felt more like separated plots.

The picture i must say is absolutely gorgeous, the colors, and little details in the clothes, walls, and furniture are so beautiful. I also loved the backstage set so much.

Mona Zaki here as "Taheya" was absolutely stunning. I love her scenes with her mother (Sawsan Badr) and sisters, the dancing, the singing with Tarek (Eyad Nassar), encountering with Omu Hani (Salwa Ottman).

Such a shame!

Very bad flow of events, the flashbacks are so confusing and it makes the audience unable to relate events to each other, it's filled with unnecessary scenes that doesn't serve the idea of the series, tiny unimportant details were magnified and some master points were not clear enough, it is such a shame because it had some well made characters.
