American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare has been in my opinion a great show. It has scares, interesting characters, clues that connect to the first season Murder House, and it has been keeping the show fresh. American Horror Story producer Ryan Murphy has said episode 6 will be a huge turning point in the show. Knowing that Mr. Murphy loves to explore this world, experiment, and has a fascination for all things straight – up Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. That got me thinking, where can this show being going? What is the most insane thing that can possibly happen in this world? I know this may sound crazy, but buckle up, because here is my theory of what may happen in the next episode. What if this is the first series with two completely different stories in one season that somehow connect! Or what if the real life Matt and Shelby come across the reenactment characters of them, Sarah Paulson and Cuba Gooding Jr. and the two different Matt and Shelby's are in two different yet similar worlds? And us as the viewer, we are not certain on what is real and what is not. I know this sounds insane, but isn't that what this show is all about?
American Horror Story: Roanoke Chapter 5 Review
American Horror Story players Evan Peters (Kick Ass, X-Men Days of Future Past) and Frances Conroy (A.H.S. Coven) found their way back to the hit series in what honestly felt like the last episode of the season. The series is still going by the Roanoke name, but this looks like the end for Matt and Shelby (or is it just the beginning?) That is why I came to the conclusion of two separate stories in one season that somehow connect. Also, the teaser trailer we got for the next episode really left me scratching my head. They show new scenery and characters that were not in any previous episodes.
So these are my final B*tchin' Buddha thoughts on episode 5 and the future of Roanoke. Episode 5 went totally insane in the brain. Every crazy creature, butcher, monster, ghost, ghoul, and psycho were plaguing the woods and mansion, and it was entertaining! It seems like the writers had good enough sense to wrap things up before the show starts to drag. As for the future of the show. I am not really sure, and that is why I am invested. It keeps me on edge asking myself what is next. I believe this episode earns a
8 out of 10!
