- TriviaWalker is technically right about anthrax having no cure, there is nothing that can cure it 100% of the time. However natural un-enhanced anthrax, like the kind he harvested from contaminated animal hides, is actually very treatable with broad spectrum antibiotics like Ciprofloxacin.
- GoofsAntibiotics would not help with a case of poisoning, unless it's bacterial food poisoning. However what happened to the militia members was not bacterial poisoning, because it is rarely fatal and symptoms don't appear for at least 12-24 hours after ingestion depending on the type of bacteria. The militia members starting showing symptoms within a few hours and the mortality rate was far too high to be caused by bacteria.

Incredible storytelling, a mid-season finale and episode you won't forget
Andrew Bernstein directs the mid-season finale, the 8th episode of Fear's third season. The episode begins where episode 2.14 ended with Ofelia at gunpoint but as we know Jeremiah left her and she went to Walker. Who is the good guy and who is the bad guy? Jeremiah and Walker, neither are good and that's what I love with this season. It then shift back to where we left off in the previous episode, so Nick is still poisoned and a lot of others are too and a war have started. It continues to be suspenseful and dramatic, all realistic. The script and storytelling this season have been top notch as I've said before and it shows now when we are 8 episodes into season 3.
The twist have finally been revealed, there were a feud before the apocalypse as we learned in the previous episode of the bones Walker had in his trailer, they were indeed his kin. It's time to pick a side they say, but what is the right side? What is the right thing to do in a situation like that, the writers have done an incredible job at just that.
The cinematography, lightning and the overall camera work was amazing in this episode. The ominous and suspenseful musical score fits with the scenes so perfectly, the sound editing is as always fantastic. Some of the best acting performances has to go to Kim Dickens in this episode, she rocks and it's mostly because of her job as Madison Clark but honestly it's because of the writing team. Madison isn't supposed to be a likeable character, the opposite as she is clearly turning into an anti-hero. What this show does well is its unpredictable nature of writing, it began with Travis' death, something that I remember upset a lot of fans me included but after re-watching the show I have to say they are geniuses... Incredible storytelling and so was the big twist at the end of this episode.
