A must watch for all

The movie is a True Story of Banda Singh Bahadur whose life got completely changed after meeting the Tenth Guru of Sikhism, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and became the first one to establish Sikh state and with the help of Sikh army brought righteousness, equality and justice by eliminating the Mughals and their cruelty. He also abolished Zamindari system in the whole province at one stroke.

Movie starts exactly where its prequel Chaar Sahibzaade ended. This one too has the essence of Guru Grace and wisdom in abundance. Every part of the movie has a beautiful and a reasonable message to convey.

Animation: Animation is much better than its prequel. Intricacies of Expresssions, movements, gestures has been enhanced and taken well into consideration.

Narration: Heavenly voice of Star Legend Om Puri does the job perfectly.

Background score: Gives you inspirational Goosebumps in the required scenes.

Songs: Great lyrics with great music. Devotional, Inspirational, emotional you name it.

The movie is a complete package and doesn't restrict itself only for the Sikh Audience but for anyone who is intrigued to know about the sacrifices made by great warriors for the Humanity. Its truly worth your time and money. Its worth watching again and again

Very well directed

I think all the history of sikhism needs to be told to the people by making such animated movies so that the people know what sacrifices has been done in the past by sikh gurus. The movie was beautifully directed and it was really sad to see the sacrifice of 4 sons of Guru Sahib

Everything in this movie is outstanding

This movie is really true indian history, there were many traitors who sold their soul for greediness but there were some Patriots who sacrificed their life to save humanity, religion, people, country. This movie explains about how Baba Banda Singh Bahadur saved punjab from Wazeer khan terrorism. For me this movie stands almost above all movies in terms of telling history and very sensitive topics as it is. Everyone should watch it, It is full of life lessons, emotions, courage, righteousness and dharma.

Very well directed, used pious songs timely and narration is excellent. Voice of all characters are fantastic.

Very Blasphemous towards the Guru & his House
felidae_king13 June 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The movie projects an 'enmity' that the Guru's family seems to have towards the Mughals or towards emperor Aurangzeb in particular. In fact, the Sahibzaades are shown to be making a mockery out of them. But Gurmat is against slandering others. The Guru & his Khalsa never believed in 'enmity' with anyone either. Guru Sahib and his children are shown to want to overthrow the Mughal rule, seeing them as 'foreigners', but the Mughals were already native, having been born in the subcontinent and dying there for centuries. Besides, Aurangzeb had remained in southern India for the last 20 years of his life and had been preoccupied with the uprising of the Marathas. In fact, he was less aware of the real state of affairs in the north. Not much is shown or mentioned of the many Hindu Hill Rajas who were the main forces to attack the Guru and his Sikhs because they could not tolerate Sikhism, that they were using the subsidiary force of the Mughals only because they could not defeat Guru Sahib themselves (besides the fanatical influence of Wazir Khan).

Madho Das Bairagi is shown to challenge the Guru only for few minutes in the beginning, when in truth, he had had a protracted fight against Guru Sahib, for at least over a month!

It is shown that Guru Sahib had killed Madho Das Bairagi's goats and cooked them as langar for the Sikhs, when in truth, he was doing it to serve langar to the starving downtrodden/underprivileged/tribal native who used to be bullied and terrorized by the Bairagi. The killing of the goats was used to villainize the Mughals & their tyranny, but by that time Bahadur Shah was already emperor and he was known to be a pious man, and there were no authorities going on in the Mughal Kingdom then (as the war of succession was going on in the south).

The Guru, his family & Gurmat, never attack an unarmed person, in fact, even on the battlefield Guru Sahib NEVER attacks first - but here, it is shown that Mata Ji assassinates a news announcer in the village! They've reduced her to an assassin!

Banda Singh Bahadur is shown to raise a political rebellion as a 'righteous act' as though sanctioned by Guru Sahib, justifying all his lootings & killings of innocent and/or rich Muslims, justifying his razing of cities to the ground; praising him for carving a territory in the north behind the emperor's back who was quelling a rebellion in the south.

These are few points in mind. 3 stars are given for the touching scenes of Mata Ji seeing the Sangat as their own children, and for graphic quality and some good music.

The movie rather tries to sweep you into thinking that you have the right to play God and chastise others, making us forget that we ourselves came from humble beginnings.
