The Wind Telephone isn't a dance, a horror, or a kids film. Strange, but most people can find themselves in it. Playful, emotional and at times dark, The Wind Telephone is about a 7 year old who has suffered great loss while still navigating the colorful imagination and powerful tools of a child. The film employs various approaches to memory and dream logic, using movement and crushing rhythm with a sliding, a-temporal narrative. The dance film was made in collaboration with choreographer Nicole Klaymoon as part of San Francisco Dance Film Festival's Co-Laboratory.
