The theory of a multiverse i.e., multiple universes (parallel and anti-parallel) running simultaneously has been often used in movies and series to mess with people’s brains. Well, franchises like the Dcau and the MCU have been working on the concept relentlessly for several years.
With these comic giants and other franchises working excessively on this single concept, people would often find all the stuff repetitive and unnecessary. One particular Dcau film got the short end of the stick when the concept of the multiverse went mainstream!

When The Concept of Multiverse Went Mainstream
People remember a time when superhero movies were only about fighting a bad guy, saving the world, and calling it a day. The start of the MCU (Iron Man) had a similar style and fans indeed loved the film.

The Dcau is one of the most popular and beloved DC adaptations of all time and includes some of the most critically acclaimed animated shows such as Batman: The Animated Series. Despite the Dcau’s popularity during the 90s and early 2000s, the franchise might have never existed if it weren’t for legendary film director Steven Spielberg.
Steven Spielberg on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
According to the Dcau head Bruce Timm, Spielberg entered the animation medium at a crucial juncture, and his involvement helped pave the way for some of the best entries in the Dcau. As a result, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Spielberg saved the DC Animated Universe from spiraling into obscurity, and here is why.

When Ali Selim was brought in to helm MCU’s Secret Invasion, he was warned against reading the comics, as the Disney Plus series had nothing to do with the source material. While it’s not wrong for adaptations to deviate from the source material, in the case of MCU, avoiding creators from delving into comics has backfired for them.
On the contrary, Bruce Timm almost rejected a film for not being knowledgeable about the comics it was based on, which ended up being one of the best Batman films of all time.

It's astonishing to think what an enormous hit Tom Shadyac's film "Bruce Almighty" was when it came out back in 2003. Jim Carrey played Bruce, a mid-level TV reporter who is selfish and a little disappointed with his job. When a rival named Evan (Steve Carell) is promoted above him, Bruce wails to God that life is unfair. Astonishingly, God Almighty (Morgan Freeman) appears to Bruce in order to give him a lesson. For one week, and limited to only a small portion of Buffalo, New York, Bruce will be given the infinite power of the Divine, teaching him that being God isn't as easy as all that. Bruce uses his Godly powers for petty, personal things like parting traffic and increasing the bust size of his girlfriend Grace (Jennifer Aniston).
Naturally, Bruce's cavalier use of power -- and his lazy acumen when it comes to answering prayers -- leads to chaos.

Whether you’ve heard the term or not, chances are you’ve seen an exploitation film somewhere in the wild. From sharksploitation megahits like Sharknado, to culture-defining classics like ozploitation’s original Mad Max, or carsploitation’s Death Race 2000, the quality of these carefully marketed mockbusters – built entirely around audience trends with huge, eye-catchingly stupid titles – has always been up for debate. But it’s rare there’s a moral dimension too; after all, no one owns the copyright on cars or sharks or post-apocalyptic bikers. It’s a little different when the genre being exploited though, is an actual person.
Bruce Lee is arguably the most famous and accomplished martial arts performer that’s ever lived. Despite a tragically truncated filmography, cut short at just four features, by his sudden death in 1973, he had co-birthed the entire kung-fu genre, which continues to live and thrive half a century on.

It’s nothing new for a musical to be based on a movie. But in the new comedy “The Shark Is Broken,” which officially opened on Broadway Thursday night, viewers are going back to 1975’s “Jaws” — but not in the way movie fans remember.
“The Shark is Broken” is co-written by and starring Ian Shaw, the son of the late Robert Shaw, who of course played ship captain Quint in the original blockbuster. In the play, Shaw portrays his own father alongside Broadway vet Alex Brightman as Richard Dreyfuss and Colin Donnell as Roy Scheider in a behind-the-scenes comedy based on the infamously difficult movie shoot.
As cinephiles are aware, “Jaws” had a troubled production: shooting on the water proved more difficult than Steven Spielberg imagined, and the mechanical shark (nicknamed “Bruce”) frequently broke down. The 90-minute play imagines several days of the shoot when Dreyfuss, Shaw, and Scheider were stuck on a boat,...
