- The cartoon received two separate German dubs. In East Germany, the studio DEFA released it under the title "Adolars phantastische Abenteuer", with the same voice cast that the base series had used. A second, more obscure dub was created for West Germany by Bavaria Film, with different voice talents, under the title "Archibald der Weltraumtrotter". The DEFA dub kept much of the playful jokes, puns and social subtext of the original Hungarian version, the Bavaria dub meanwhile removed many gags and expressed the hidden social symbolism in generic, straightforward plain-talk.
- Due to their social commentary, the first and last episodes of the show were not released in the Czech Republic until 2000, while the rest of the series originally aired in 1977.
