Must in schools?
a-476387 September 2023
Incredible movie to watch with the whole family, I love that the shots are documentary style because it makes it closer and real for the viewer and also gives it an educational touch for any member of the family, the performances are very organic and this gives the essence of the film, it makes you remember how you lived your childhood with that curiosity and imagination that has no end, it is usually a little slow but you are fascinated with the landscapes and just the curiosity of children to know what else can occur to them, I still think there are things that should go deeper because suddenly the story is a little flat, but it has to be a must in schools.

The sweetest movie!!

I stumbled upon this movie quite by accident and was immediately enthralled with its quiet, sweet, dream-like feeling. The children in the movie are absolutely precious, working as a team with the help of supportive parents and neighbors to find treasure. It's everything a kids movie should be. No questionable scenes, (except there is a scene where they eat cooked crabs which may be sensitive for some viewers! They live by the sea - to be expected), no bad language, nothing suggestive, just sweet and adventurous, exactly how childhood should be! Love, love, love it! The world needs more of this!

A Tesoro of a movie
gunshotglitterme26 February 2023
I came across this movie via Kanopy and fell in love with it! The story is simple enough. Three newly arrived siblings embark on an adventure to find long ago buried treasure from pirates they believe is buried deep in the local moors of Costa Grande of Guerrero, in Barra de Potosí, Mexico. With the help and support of their new community that's full of both newly made friends that are both kids and adults that are full of sweetness, kindness, patience, and loving supporting guidance what we get is a movie that is sweet, dreamlike, inspiring, and full of imagination that matches the beautiful local community, cultura, and scenery. This is a must watch for anyone that wants to escape in both an imaginative and inventive adventure of cinema!
