gone too soon
Harvard-educated former philosophy professor Jack Griffin (Glenn Howerton) is bitter from an embarrassing Youtube video and the lost of his Stanford job to nemesis Miles Leonard. His meek ex-roommate Principal Ralph Durbin (Patton Oswalt) hires him as the A.P. Bio teacher at his old Toledo high school. He is living in his late mom's home and failing in every way. His students are not happy since he refuses to teach them biology. He decides to seek revenge with the help of his students.
I love Always Sunny and there is an irreverent happiness to that cast's other works. This is very much that. It's irreverent with a bitter joyous tone. Howerton is great and I always like Oswalt. What puts this over the top are the 'kids'. They are a hilarious bunch. If anything, this show should have a few student-centric episodes. It would be great to see the kids in other school activities. Sadly, this is canceled after two seasons. It's gone too soon.
