A Touch of Genie: Memories from the Bottle (2009)
*** (out of 4)
This ten-minute featurette is actually pretty good and gives you a nice idea about the making of 1974's A TOUCH OF GENIE. Director Joseph W. Sarno and actor Douglas Stone are interviewed about the making of the picture and we get some pretty good stories dealing with the production. These stories include the casting of the picture as well as how it all got started. The cast members including Harry Reems are discussed and Sarno openly talks about what was so good about the film. If you're a fan of the film then you'll certainly want to check this out but even if you're not, like I wasn't, then you'll still enjoy the stories about this lost form of filmmaking.
