What we have here is the 2017 music video for the song "Thunder" by Imagine Dragons. The director is prolific music video filmmaker Joseph Kahn and in this almost entirely black-and-white film, we see the band members most of the time. The song is tolerable, a bit on the catchy side, but lyrics-wise fairly shallow and empty, sadly a description that fits many of the biggest hits these days. the music video comes really short in its attempt of combining essentialism with creative boastfulness. it feels all over the place and is not worth watching too. I'd say here that the best choice may be to just listen to the record, but the song just isn't good enough for that either. A really disappointing outcome overall and it does come close to failure territory at times, but does not quite reach it yet. Still I have to give this one a thumbs-down, only worth checking out for the very biggest Dragons fans and their work here surely won' make you one. I am glad it was this short, even for a music video under 3.5 minutes is not a lot at all. You shall skip this one. Certainly (and hopefully) not one of the band's brightest moments.
