Dark Winds will have another case to solve at AMC and AMC+.
The hit drama series has been renewed for Dark Winds Season 3.
A renewal was a no-brainer, with the cabler and its streaming sibling previously touting the show's continued success.

"We started this journey with very high hopes for this series, given the remarkable source material and extraordinary creative team behind it, and it has delivered on every level," said Dan McDermott, president of entertainment and AMC Studios for AMC Networks.

Levels is the first foray for Orbital Mechanics, the new production company...
Set in the near future, the film follows Ash — the love of Joe’s life — who is shockingly murdered before his eyes. As his world unravels, he comes to learn that nothing is as it seems.
Levels will mark Adam Stern’s first feature after making two shorts and working in VFX for more than two decades (presiding over Artifex Studios) with credits including series Continuum and Almost Human.
Producers are Stern of Orbital Mechanics, Tony Wosk of Middle Child Films and Kyle Bornais of Farpoint Films.
Amp International has come aboard for sales and has pre-sold the film in multiple territories including Germany (Capelight) and Middle East (Front Row).

"You haven't been good for me, or nice to me." Burden of Proof is a compelling short film from Norway, made by a Norwegian filmmaker named Ivar Aase. After premiering at festivals in 2021 and 2022, it's now online to watch thanks to our friends at Short of the Week. "It's her words against his when Anna tries to make her ex understand what he has done to her." It's a one-take film shot from a very unique perspective - the camera is positioned far away from the two lead characters. It's filmed from above a bridge where Anna meets up with her ex Robert while we listen in from a recording. It's an uncomfortable conversation and this distant view gives it a whole other feel than if it was shot conventionally. Starring Helene Bergsholm and Dan Skjæveland. Even if it's hard to watch, this is a vitally important film confronting societal problems.

Bumpy Johnson is back, and he’s ready to reclaim his territory in the Season 3 of “Godfather of Harlem.” In an exclusive clip and two exclusive photos, Johnson weighs his options as he sets his sights on new opportunities. Season 3 is set to premiere Jan. 15, 2023, on MGM+.
“If I go south of 110th St., I gotta smile, bow and and scrape. If I assert myself to a white man in a way that he doesn’t like, I get billy clubbed and I get put in jail. But, up here, it’s different. I get respect. I call the shots. Me, and me alone,” says Johnson, who is played by Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker, in an exclusive clip.
In each shot of the teaser, viewers get a glance of Johnson’s next business deals and business partners, and the harsh realities and the Black community faced during the civil rights movement in the 1960s.

Canada-based firms Blink49 Studios and Vanguarde Artists Management are teaming to make shows.
The pair has created a joint venture that will develop and produce content for the global market. The firms are billing the deal as a “first-of-its-kind” agreement in Canada, with Vanguarde providing the creative talent and IP and former eOne Television chief John Morayniss’ Blink49 providing studio, production and distribution infrastructure.
Blink49, which is backed by Cj Enm-owned Fifth Season, will also provide development funding to help create a slate. It and Vanguarde will serve as co-producers on all projects developed, with Fifth Season taking a first look on international distribution rights.
The news comes shortly after Deadline revealed Vanguarde had set up a production arm, Vanguarde Pictures and hired former Saving Hope and Burden of Truth showrunner Adam Pettle, who’ll work to develop content alongside Co-Heads Tina Horwitz and Jay Horwitz.
