I didn't think I would laugh this hard!

First, I want to say I really thought about my rating before I gave it 10 stars. I wanted my review to be honest, and I tried to think of some reason to rate it any lower, and I just couldn't.

I had seen the trailer, and several clips, and knew this was going to be funny. But when I finally got to see the full pilot, I left with a stitch in my side! I really haven't laughed like this in a long time.

"Lazy Circles: "Welcome" to Goshé" starts out with a sweet, small town feel, with interviews of actual locals. But even the setting of the stage starts the hilarity (with some beautiful cinematography thrown in). The three main characters, played by Lucas Ross, are all perfectly over the top. His timing and enthusiasm are just right, but he doesn't carry the show alone. Marcus Ross, writer, director, and supporting actor, has done a fantastic job of putting together a very clever script with a story that comes together in a hysterical ending. It also bears to mention that a show can be wildly funny, and clean at the same time.

"Lazy Circles" has been described as having a "Portlandia" feel. Admittedly, I've not watched that show, but I can say some of the camera work reminded me of "Reno 911," and maybe a little "Napoleon Dynamite." It seems absurd to put those two in the same sentence, but it's an absurd show, so I think it works.

There is so much talent between the Ross brothers, and I have a feeling this is just a glimpse of what they have to offer. At the time of this review, there only exists the pilot. I cannot wait to see what else comes from this show.
