I liked the book. Not the best novel by Sebastian Fitzek but a good one. The movie adaptation was incredibly poor and besides the main plot and some scenes totally different from the book, which is a shame. Rushed, cheaply produced and partly miscast. Torben Liebrecht was okay in the leading role. At least after a while. Also look wise he fitted the role. Inez Bjorg David was okay but totally miscast. The only actor that suited the character in the book was Armin Rohde who was fun to watch. The only other positive aspect was the nice settings. It was generally entertaining but the screenplay totally raped the origin novel and that was also a shame. Its an even weaker adaptation than the previous Fitzek film "The Child". Really stay away from it.

I want to be informed about the film and not the book

I have not seen the film yet, so I red the two reviews hopping to be informed what THE FILM is and not whether it's a good or bad adaption of any book. Unfortunately, it's a continuous mistake many reviewers are still doing: They connect a film with a book and they are just judging whether the film is a good or a bad adaption of the book. Sorry, they have to understand that IMDb are presenting films and not books.
