Football Tactics and Bets
claudio_carvalho1 July 2023
While his family is watching a football game on TV, Sheldon uses statistics to comment tactics of the game. His father uses his advices and the high-school team becomes a winner and Sheldon popular. Meemaw also asks him to help her to win her bets. When Sheldon fails in one mathematics question and has B+ due to lack of attention, he decides to change and help George and Meemaw no more.

"A Solar Calculator, a Game Ball, and a Cheerleader's Bosom" is another funny episode of "Young Sheldon". Now he uses his knowledge in statistics to help George and Meemaw in football games. The consequences are the increase of his popularity at school and the jealousy of Georgie. As Sheldon is a nine-year-old boy, he hates hugs and contact with the cheerleader's bosom. Missy dressed to go to a party is also hilarious. My vote is seven.

A Solar Calculator, a Game Ball, and a Cheerleader's Bosom

Perhaps a step down on the previous episodes, but this show is never less than enjoyable, with it being a lot of fun to see what and indeed who made Sheldon Cooper the man he would become in later years.

There were lots of nice moments here, and it certainly moves along at a fast pace, with certainly no messing about.

Zoe Perry is great as Sheldon's mum, and I'm enjoying how the other characters are starting to be fleshed out a bit too.

Overall, this is another good episode of a spin-off/prequel that is starting to find its own feet to good effect. Long may the quality like this continue as the series progresses.
