I didn't watch the show when it was on the air but my mom and I have decided to watch all of the NCIS episodes of each show, we are caught up on the original and Hawaii, and have liked the first two episodes of Sydney haven't watched LA yet because I can't find it anywhere streaming so we're left with NCIS New Orleans. Honestly it's pretty terrible, the dialogue is riddled with obvious stuff that doesn't need to be said, the acting is not great including but not limited to the accents and they shove multiple episode storylines into one episode, minimizing the stakes for the characters. That one episode where they went after world renowned assassin... why is NCIS going after this assassin? And why can't Pride ever do what he's told? And why aren't any of them held accountable for their actions?? Ugh. So many story lines don't make sense. That being said this episode was great, Gregorio and Eva have more chemistry than any other pairing on this show. Love the queer content make them all queer. Favorite episode so far.

The Asset

Warning: Spoilers
Vanessa Ferlito is not really equipped to handle the kind of complexity her character needed in tonight's episode and as a result this was the first mediocre offering of the season. It was still an enjoyable story, but if you've seen one NCIS episode in your life you knew exactly how it would play out. It is worth watching, just not as good as the last two weeks.
Exceptional episode except for unnecessary lesbian scenes

Warning: Spoilers
NCIS-New Orleans has good story lines, good actors and this particular episode "The Asset" was exceptionally well done, with a Russian espionage theme. However, the lesbian flirting throughout the episode, even with a kiss sadly means I will never watch another NCIS-NO. Really a bummer since it has been a good series.
