First there was Sharon Osbourne, then there was Kris (Kardashian) Jenner, now there's Todd Chrisley, the next contender for Grand Reality Show Matriarch/Patriarch.
Todd is another opportunist who sees the potential for big dollar signs via the exploitation (and I mean that in a good way) of his family and its dynamics. After the success of his family reality show "Chrisley Knows Best", he sensed that America could use more of their southern charm and humor.
"According to Chrisley" is a talk show hosted by Todd. Each episode features one or more of the family members as guests, as well as other celebrities.
Todd interacts with his audiences, handing out his trademarked conservative advice--much like Steve Harvey does. He plays pranks on his wife, Julie, or the kids. In the first episode, daughter Savannah goes for a psychic reading, unaware of Todd's scheme to influence the results. It's all light-hearted fun wrapped in a comfort food-like shell of Todd's witticisms.
The family is photogenic and actually funny, though the talk show does not mine that resource as well as "Chrisley Knows Best".
Not everyone will enjoy Todd's brand of humor. If you like the family reality show, you might like this.
