Megan Thee Stallion has turned up the summer heat by announcing her new album, Megan, out June 28th.
The Houston rapper hasn’t shared any further details about her follow-up to 2022’s Traumazine, but the Megan tracklist likely features the three singles she’s released since going independent late last year: “Cobra” (and its rock remix), “Hiss,” “Boa.” It could also include a new remix of her GloRilla collab “Wanna Be.”

In a recent interview with L’Officiel, Megan described the album’s general feel. “I don’t want to say I’m tapping into other genres. I’m just tapping into other sounds,” she said. “It won’t feel like I went so left. It’ll feel true to me. You’ll almost be like, I wouldn’t have thought she would’ve rapped over that, but this sounds great.”

Jennifer’s Body is becoming people’s favorite annual Halloween watch today, but that was not the case back in 2009 when Megan Fox starred in it. The film was not received so well by viewers, and part of its failure was the studio’s advertising.

Jay-Z and Nas took a lot of heavy shots at each during their famous battle. Their feud caught major mainstream attention, with even a few stars sharing their feelings on the matter. One of those stars was Rosie Perez, who sided with Nas in their rap war.
What Rosie Perez had to say about Jay-Z during his battle with Nas Jay-Z | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
Jay-Z and Nas’ former rivalry took a turn for the worst as their competition continued. Hip hop fans might remember Jay-Z attacking Nas first on the record “The Takeover,” where he criticized numerous rappers in the industry. Nas would retaliate with “Ether,” which many believed was the better diss record between the two.
But those weren’t the only diss records exchanged by the two veteran emcees. Jay-Z would answer Nas’ “Ether” with the much more personal diss track “Supa Ugly.” On that record, Jay-Z claimed...

The highly anticipated Avatar: The Last Airbender has been released today. The series follows the story of Aang, a 12-year-old Avatar, capable of mastering all four elements. He must defeat the Fire Nation to end a century-long war.
Avatar: The Last Airbender – Aang (Gordon Cormier), Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka (Ian Ousley)
Surprisingly, the live-action adaptation is receiving negative reviews. Its failure is due to a screenplay that was poorly done. They tried to fit too much into a short time, draining the life out of the story.
But before the show was reviewed by ruthless reviews, the original creators of the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender lost respect for it due to a very straightforward reason.

From the beginning of her career, Nicki Minaj has taken the moments as they’ve come. When her debut album Pink Friday arrived in 2010, she was navigating somewhat unpaved terrain. Breaking through the barriers of hip-hop’s boy’s club meant defending her craft to people who perceived her femininity as a limitation on her capability, while also proving that she wasn’t a carbon copy of the women who were her predecessors. “When you’re told something for a long time, even when it changes, your mind frame doesn’t change,...

Happy New Year! 2023 has been a strange one at times, and while not the worst year in recent memory, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t ready to turn the calendar page and start something new. But that being said, there were a number of things over the course of this year that made it not only tolerable, but downright fun at times. I will always turn to art and media in stressful times, and 2023 gave me a great mixture of new films, exciting series and other projects that I found to be entertaining, enlightening, or even heart-touching.

2023 started off with a banger in the form of a sentient monster doll by the name of M3GAN. I haven’t had this much fun in a theater since 2021’s Malignant, which was also written by the great Akela Cooper. I had so much fun with this one.

5 Times Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark Was Not A Self-Centered Snob Like Others Perceive Him (Picture Credit: Facebook & IMDb)
Robert Downey Jr has ruled our hearts with his fantastic portrayal of Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tony’s character was described beautifully by the man himself in The Avengers in 2012. He is a genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist, but Captain America Steve Rogers’s response to this called him selfish. Not just in this movie time and again, Tony has been perceived as a self-centered and narcissistic human being. But is that all?
Tony turned out to be one of the most loved MCU characters, mainly because of Rdj. The MCU started its journey with Iron Man in 2008, and since the first film, he has proved that Tony is not just an egomaniacal; he has a heart, too. The singer is reportedly in talks to bring her global tour to the big screen via AMC Theatres.
Beyoncé fans looking to experience her “Renaissance World Tour” in a new way may get their wish before the year ends. According to multiple reports, the icon is in final talks to bring her global tour to the big screen via AMC Theatres.
Per Variety, the theatre chain will reportedly skip over the studios for direct distribution, much like its process for Taylor Swift’s upcoming concert film, “The Eras Tour”. Swift, who self-financed the project and will take more than half of box receipts, is expected to premiere her film north of $100 million in October.
Sources told the outlet that Beyoncé’s concert film will feature footage from her top-grossing 2023 live shows, never-before-seen videos from the long-gestating “Renaissance” visual album and a documentary-style account of making the record and building out the tour.

On Saturday night, the crowd at Houston’s Nrg Stadium was surprised – and ecstatic – when Beyoncé invited Megan Thee Stallion on stage.
In footage from halfway through Saturday night’s show, Beyoncé asked the crowd, “Do we have any savage ladies and gentlemen in Houston tonight?” In response to the cheers, she announced, “Please give it up for Houston’s own Megan Thee Stallion!”
Megan strutted on stage to deliver a performance of the duo’s Grammy-winning “Savage” remix. She recited the opening lyrics, “I’m that bitch. Been that b—-, still that b—-. Will forever be that b—-,” and added, “What’s up, Houston?”
From her platform, Beyoncé smiled at her colleague in admiration. She asked the concertgoers, “Does she make you proud?” The crowd roared in response. Beyoncé continued, “She makes me proud. I love you, girl.”
Megan Thee Stallion screamed back, “I love you Beyoncé!

It feels like we’ve been hearing about Krapopolis since the days of ancient Greece, doesn’t it? Fox first ordered the animated comedy from Dan Harmon more than three years ago, and after multiple delays, it’s now quite possibly the only TV show ever to have been renewed for three seasons before even airing a single episode. So now that it’s finally arrived, was it worth the wait? Actually, to my pleasant surprise, it was. Krapopolis — debuting this Sunday, Sept. 24 at 8/7c; I’ve seen the first three episodes — is a very worthy occupant of Fox’s vaunted Sunday night animation block,...

Despite all the people championing her new music, the 30-year-old singer-songwriter still ended up at the award show as an attendee instead of a performer. Hearing the disappointment from her supporters, she explained the situation in more depth on social media.
"I see your advocation for me to have performed tonight and I'm so grateful to you!! Sincerely!" Monét wrote on X (formerly Twitter). "My team was told it is 'too early in my story' for that opportunity so we will keep working!" She went on to thank fans, maintaining a positive attitude as she pointed to the upcoming tour for her new album "Jaguar II," with shows beginning on Sept. 15.

Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake are putting rumours of a feud between them to rest.
After a viral video of their backstage encounter at the 2023 MTV VMAs left fans speculating a possible feud between the two, given Megan’s seemingly angry expressions in the clip, the singers immediately shut down rumours at an afterparty.
In a TikTok video uploaded to Megan’s account early Wednesday, the pair are seen smiling and laughing as they chat and dance beside each other while the “Hot Girl Summer” rapper makes hand gestures toward the camera, mimicking her actions from their backstage moment at the awards show.
“I just talk with my hands lol,” she simply explained of what went down in the caption, adding, “@justintimberlake love ya.”

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion made their triumphant collaborative return with "Bongos" on Sept. 8, offering up what is effectively a sequel to their 2020 pussy rap smash hit, "Wap."
"Wap" and its sexual lyrics struck a cord worldwide with supporters and critics alike. Its detractors claimed it demeans women, while supporters pointed out the song promotes unapologetic sexual expression on women's terms in an industry overflowing with men who sing and rap about sex and face far less scrutiny.
Cardi and Megan continue their message of women's sexual empowerment with "Bongos." However, with "Wap," the meaning behind the song's title was a little more straightforward: it meant "wet ass pussy," and that lyric was interspersed repeatedly throughout the song. Fans might be wondering what "bongos" means now, considering the word itself is not used quite as frequently or explicitly in the song's lyrics.
But while "Bongos" is a tiny bit...

Horror is slaying the box office in 2023, accounting for 12 of the year's top 45 films through July. The genre is also killing it with critics: 43 horror movies are rated "Fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes. 2023 will likely go down as one of horror's greatest years, but not because of those reasons.
Horror fans know kills mean nothing without context. Because of ticket costs, comparing eras through the box office lens is like judging your waistline in a funhouse mirror. Similarly, critical praise can mislead because modern horror critics are often genre fans while, older generations many times did not understand the genre's value. When comparing horror eras, you need to close your eyes to tomatoes and ticket sales, and instead focus on your heart and your gut — then let it all spill out.
While ranking the 14 greatest years of horror cinema, I gave greater weight to foundational horror because it laid the groundwork for modern horror's ascension.

In a post dedicated to his fans, Lanez took to Instagram to assert that he is innocent.
He started off by addressing his fans, who he calls “Umbrellas,” and explained that he will not be changed by his conviction. “To The Umbrellas, I have never let a hard time intimidate me. I will never never let no jail time eliminate me. Regardless of how they try to spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence and I always will.”

It doesn’t move, it doesn’t think, it just kills… introducing ‘the mannequin’ in horror thriller Don’T Look Away, released in the UK on Digital Platforms from 25th September 2023.
From award-winning writer/director Michael Bafaro (The Barber), Don’T Look Away stars Kelly Bastard, in her debut feature, as Frankie, a college student who accidentally unleashes a curse, and is stalked by a seemingly unstoppable – and murderous – mannequin.
Brilliantly inventive and delivering some superbly scary set-pieces, including a disturbing disco bloodbath – not to mention enough shocks that the film should come with a health warning – Don’T Look Away will have you jumping at shadows for days after. Kelly Bastard is outstanding in the lead role as a woman attempting to keep hold of her sanity, at the same time as unravelling the mystery of the murderous mannequin – a truly spooky character who could rightly take his place in the horror hall of fame.

James Wan is “safe and on the mend,” after being rushed to the ER earlier this week, his wife Ingrid Bisu said in an Instagram story on his account.
“It has been an extremely rough and scary couple of days and nights,” Bisu wrote on Thursday, before going on to thank the staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
“You never want to rush to the ER in the middle of the night and then have to stay in the hospital. Cedars Sinai is truly the best!! The best doctors, nurses, technicians, just the most wonderful people. James is safe now and on the mend,” she said in a captioned photo of Wan sitting up in a hospital bed, which you can see below.

How many of you live your lives based on the constant anxiety of the question “what will people say”? Because that’s basically what Steve Chambers did and look where it got him. We are talking about the season finale of Cruel Summer, and assuming you are only here after watching it, you know what I am talking about. I knew it would be futile to predict what was going to happen in the end because Cruel Summer was always going to surprise us. But we went ahead because it was way too much fun, and in the end, I am glad that the show threw most of our wild theories in the trash and gave us something entirely unimaginable. Let us take a closer look one last time.

The 23rd BET Awards were given out on Sunday evening, in a five hour-plus (!) ceremony held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
This year’s host-less BET Awards had a lot going on, including a star-studded celebration of 50 years of hip hop (featuring musical medleys curated by DJ and producer Kid Capri); a tribute to the late Tina Turner, led by the legendary (if teleprompter-challenged) Patti Labelle; the recognition of Busta Rhymes with the Lifetime Achievement Award; and performances by nominees Coco Jones, Ice Spice, GloRilla and Latto, plus Doechii, Lil Uzi Vert and Mad Lion.

Kate Roberts is something else, isn't she?
One moment on Days of Our Lives during the week of 6-16-23, she's ordering a hit on Megan. The next, she's inserting herself into a conversation that falls squarely into none-of-her-business territory.
Even so, she's one of the best parts of some otherwise stale stories. Thank goodness for Kate!
Although Roman's softened her somewhat, Kate has always had a hard edge, and that's not changing any time soon.
She's also the queen of butting in, whether she's poisoning Chloe to get back at her for cheating on Kate's beloved son or telling Eric to have that baby with Sloan already.

Kate's speech to Eric was almost inspiring. There's something to be said for plunging into chaos and living fully, even if it means living on the edge.
