A powerful, incredibly written drama set in 1964 Mississippi with race, relationship, and character issues that are relevant in contemporary society. Isabelle Fuhrman and Caitlin Carver performances are moving and memorable. The direction, production, and music are exceptional. The film's messages are important and it needed to be made.
