The missing boat in the series, The Gikumi, is the first Whale Watching boat in Western Canada and has been used for real-life film charters, including the "Blue Planet" and 2nd Unit work for "Free Willy"
This is Savonna Spracklin's first professional acting role, which she won a Leo Award for in 2017.
Director Darren Borrowman grew up in the village of Telegraph Cove when the year-round population was 12 people.
At the time of filming the series, the population was somewhere between 4-6 people.
This may account for why the village looks like a ghost town.
