Solid but forgotten Adult Western
lor_9 January 2018
I was glad to add this "lost" porn film to IMDb nearly 20 years after it was made, as it's another example of craftsmanship from seriously underrated director Bud Lee.

Though the title is a riff on that of Sam Raimi's movie starring Sharon Stone, the plot here by writer George Kaplan is lifted from "The Magnificent Seven" model. It's timely, as I watched this Adam & Eve picture after having seen the trailer for "Ocean's 8" a couple of times at my local cinema and Lee's feature likewise converts a familiar gang of boys movie to a cast of heroines instead.

Shanna McCullough recruits a group of four gunslinging ladies to go after a band of outlaws led by Steve Hatcher, after Mikayla (the beautiful Johnni Black) tells her sad story. We're introduced to Hatcher in the first scene as he services the great Chloe, who was taking a bath, including her specialty anal sex, marred by the anachronistic use of condoms in a 19th Century story, per Adam & Eve's safe sex mandate.

Cheyenne Silver is terrific cast as a proud Indian maid named Cheyenne, while busty Anita Cannibal is equally hot in the sack. Lee departs from modern porn format by cross-cutting between as many as three sex scenes at a time, instead of staging those tedious (currently lasting 40 minutes or more) stand-alone sex scenes suitable for independent streaming.

The gals, especially Cheyenne, display horseback riding skills, an element wholly absent from Digital Playground's similar new Western "Rawhide", itself stealing its title from one of Adam & Eve's biggest hits. Acting is fine, and violence is kept to a minimum, Lee preferring to build his movie around an impressive lesbian orgy-scene as its centerpiece.
