Jack and Rose’s tragic romance in Titanic is considered to be one of the greatest love stories. James Cameron’s epic disaster film was known for its amazing practical and visual effects but has become a modern classic due to Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet’s acclaimed performances as the leading couple.
Though Cameron’s ambitious project runs over three hours, the filmmaker still had some deleted scenes on the cutting room floor. One of these scenes saw Jack and Rose singing ‘Come Josephine’ after their Irish Dance at the third class section. Fans were quick to notice that the song was hummed by the duo at different points in the film, including its heartbreaking ending.

Leonardo DiCaprio has always had a penchant for choosing challenging roles that have required the actor to give every ounce of himself physically and emotionally. From enduring freezing waters in James Cameron’s blockbuster Titanic to eating raw bison to prepare for his Oscar-winning turn in The Revenant, the celebrity has never shied away from pushing the envelope.

Constantin Film and Big Light Productions has tapped Christian Schwochow, whose credits include “The Crown,” “Munich: The Edge of War” and “Bad Banks,” to direct its upcoming high-profile drama series “Nuremberg,” based on the Nuremberg Trials. The show will be written by Frank Spotnitz, whose credits include “The Man in the High Castle,” “Ransom” and “Leonardo.”
The series follows young survivors of World War II who go to work for Allied prosecutors trying Nazi criminals in Nuremberg, only to find their quest for justice undermined by secret efforts to build a new world order based on power, not principle.
Schwochow said: “The Nuremberg Trials marked a pivotal moment in human history, ushering in a new age of responsibility and justice. This is a story of humanity grappling with its deepest shadows. Its relevance has never been greater, and I am filled with a humble sense of duty to tell this story faithfully.

Outside, the rain was relentless; inside the lobby of Los Angeles’ NuArt Theater, so was the cheer. At a sold-out March 6 premiere for the crowdsource-funded “Our T2 Remake,” a full-length parody of “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” produced entirely with AI tools, the energy recalled Sundance circa 1995.
Among the supporters were Caleb Ward, co-founder of AI filmmaking education platform Curious Refuge and creator of last year’s viral AI short “Star Wars by Wes Anderson;” Dave Clark, who created another viral AI video with his Adidas spec and whose short film “Another” would precede the feature; Nem Perez, founder of AI storyboarding mobile app Storyblocker Studios and the director of “T2 Remake”; and Jeremy Boxer, the former Vimeo creative director who now runs consultancy Boxer and is the cofounder of community group Friends With AI.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s illustrious and lengthy career in Hollywood dates back to when he famously starred in James Cameron’s Titanic. From there, he built an incredible portfolio of films that encompass many genres and roles worthy of awards. He has become one of the most highly-paid actors in the industry and a consistent A-lister. DiCaprio’s life is far from being unlucky, as many fans would say.

Ken Burns has already cracked the code for being synonymous with highbrow documentary filmmaking, but now the award-winning director is taking on an unprecedented feat: capturing the life and legacy of Renaissance painter Leonardo da Vinci.
Burns’ upcoming PBS film “Leonardo da Vinci” marks the director’s first non-American subject. The two-part, four-hour documentary will debut November 18 and 19, as Burns codirects with daughter Sarah Burns and Dave McMahon.
Per the official synopsis, “Leonardo da Vinci” follows the 15th century polymath’s life and evolution as a draughtsman and painter, scientist and engineer, who used notebooks to explore an astonishing array of subjects including painting, philosophy, engineering, warfare, anatomy, and geography, among many others. Set against the rich and dynamic backdrop of Renaissance Italy, at a time of skepticism and freethinking, regional war and religious upheaval, “Leonardo da Vinci” brings the artist’s towering achievements to life through his prolific personal notebooks,...

The fellows headlining Fellow Travelers both have enviable acting résumés, but perhaps their roles on the Showtime series will be their greatest yet. Based on the novel by Thomas Mallon, the decade-spanning drama stars Jonathan Bailey and Matt Bomer as two men whose relationship traverses the McCarthyism of the 1950s, the wartime upheaval of the ‘60s, the disco hedonism of the ‘70s, and the AIDS crisis of the ’80s, as they face obstacles both in the world and within themselves, Showtime says. And we’ve watched Bailey and Bomer travel from project to project over the last 10-plus years. Here are our picks for their best roles to date. Jonathan Bailey: Leonardo (2011–2012) Bailey played an anachronistic, sneaker-wearing version of Leonardo Da Vinci during his boy genius years in this teen Cbbc series, as immortalized in the fan edit above. “I always felt quite removed from Leonardo da Vinci,” the actor...

With “The Inventor,” Jim Capobianco (the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of “Ratatouille“) has managed to direct a family-friendly animated musical (in both stop-motion and 2D) about Leonardo da Vinci’s search for the meaning of life at the end of his life. That’s quite a da Vinci code to crack. That is why it took 12 years to make as a co-production with Curiosity Studio (Ireland), Foliascope (France), Aerial Contrivance Studios, and Robert Rippberger’s Sie Films.
Capobianco’s fascination with da Vinci began with the 2009 2D short “Leonardo,” after intense research into his legendary life as an inventor of flying machines, artist, and pioneer in the study of human anatomy. But what sparked Capobianco’s interest was the notion of da Vinci as “a real person struck with ideas beyond the technical, intellectual, and the societal capabilities of his time.” For him, “The Inventor” explores legacy, how you live your life,...

A few of last year’s most notable horror movies are still without physical media releases, and that’s because they ended up being streaming exclusives. That list includes Netflix’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Hulu’s Prey, along with Hulu and David Bruckner‘s Hellraiser.
We have no idea at this time whether or not Hellraiser will be released on DVD/Blu-ray here in the United States, but we’ve learned the film is hitting DVD over in the United Kingdom.
The UK DVD release of Hellraiser (2022) arrives on March 27, 2023. As always, you’ll be able to watch the disc here in the States but you’ll need a Region Free DVD player first.
David Bruckner (The Night House), who helmed Netflix’s The Ritual as well as sections of Bloody Disgusting’s horror anthologies V/H/S and Southbound, directed the relaunch of the Hellraiser franchise for Spyglass Media,...

Italian medical drama series Doc – Nelle Tue Mani is getting a U.S. remake.
A U.S. version of the series, which comes from Italian producer Lux Vide, the company behind Aidan Turner series Leonardo, is in the works at Fox.
Michael Thorn, President of Scripted Programming at Fox, told Deadline that the network has a “couple of pieces of material that are being worked on as we speak”.
The move further into medical development comes as the future of long-running series The Resident hangs in the balance. The show just ended its sixth season but Thorn said that he hasn’t made a decision yet as to whether this will be its final season.
The Italian series follows a doctor who suffers a major head injury that wipes 12 years from his memory. It was the most-watched Italian series in the last 13 years with its run on public broadcaster Rai.

Episode 4 of the flagship and spinoff series — “FBI,” “FBI: International” and “FBI: Most Wanted” — delivered solid audience numbers: 7.4, 6.1 and 5.4 million average viewers, respectively. Each program increased its viewers by a couple to several hundreds of thousands of watchers.
Ratings-wise, each program saw minor decreases from the week prior. Last week, ratings were strongest for the original show, which drew a 0.55 rating. At 9 p.m., “FBI: International” had a demo rating of 0.4 and at 10 p.m. “FBI: Most Wanted” got 0.38 in the demo.

CBS’ “FBI” viewers finally got to see the Season 4 finale that was pulled at the last minute earlier this year after a school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. Instead, it aired Tuesday night as Season 5’s third episode, and it seems audiences’ interests were piqued.
The episode involves the son of Jeremy Sisto’s character, Jubal, and his reluctance to provide information about a classmate with ties to a massive gun heist. It fared quite well and was by far the most-watched program of the night with a 0.6 rating among the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and 7 million total viewers at 8 p.m.
However, “FBI” was slightly edged out of the top demo ratings spot by NBC’s “The Voice,” which managed a 0.7 as viewers tuned in to see the coaches battle it out to finalize their teams during the last of the blind auditions.

Christian Bale is not your typical GQ coverboy, but that’s exactly where he’s landed this month, in part because he cares about his newest collaboration with David O. Russell, Amsterdam, on which Bale is also a producer.
The 82-million film has an uphill battle in its first week of release. Despite being booked in 3,000 theaters nationwide, it’s looking at only about 10 million in ticket sales, per analysis from Deadline’s Anthony D’Alessandro. Given that, Bale said he decided to take a chance on a big, glossy interview to help boost the film.
“People have always told me this kind of stuff helps,” the actor told GQ. “I never believed it. But, I was like, ‘Oh, well, all right.’ I care. I care, you know?”
Another thing he cared about was not getting stuck playing Batman after the success of his billion dollar-grossing collaboration with Christopher Nolan on the Dark Knight trilogy.

“This series is a real powerhouse,” said Spotnitz. “It’s an investigative mystery, a suspense thriller set both in a courtroom and on the global stage, and one of the most searing moral dramas imaginable. The characters and the issues all seem startlingly relevant and contemporary.”
