The 1st Draft of the Script was written at TOI Restaurant on Sunset or better known as "TOI Rocking Thai Food" on Sunset Blvd close to the Guitar Center. Writer Chase Watson happened to sit next to the table where Quentin Tarantino wrote his first hit scripts like Reservoir Dogs. Chase knew that Quentin likes this restaurant but didn't know that he actually wrote his scripts there until the manager happened to tell Chase one day that the next table over is where Quentin used to sit and write.
"Writing a movie about a Rock Band, It's just the coolest story to tell as a writer!" Chase absolutely loved writing the Script and had a lot of fun with it. He could write on this subject for months there's so much material to work with.
