- For the theatrical release in India, the CBFC demanded that 8 cuts be made to the film before it could be approved with an A rating. These cuts removed dialogue and visuals which the board disapproved of for political reasons.
- The film was re-rated U/A by the CBFC for video release after a few dialogues were modified, smoking disclaimer was made legible and a few violent shots of people burning were removed.
