- When packages with gruesome contents are delivered to six people in the Washington, D.C. area, the BAU must first figure out what connects the recipients before they can identify the UnSub. Also, Simmons and Kristy struggle to connect with their son, David, who is suspended from school for aggressive behavior.—Emily Reddom
- Six women in the DC area are each couriered a box containing carefully wrapped freshly disarticulated body parts, the six women who seemingly have no connection to each other. The six boxes each contained an index card, when put together made reference to the implication of Humpty Dumpty and putting them back together again. The ME is able to determine that there are two male victims among the six parts, the men disarticulated post-mortem but who were administered a paralytic and were physically tortured before they died. The unsub seems to be craving attention in further acts, including posting a purportedly live video of one of the victims being hacked to death. Galina Kadlec, a dominant and the webmaster of the site on the dark web to which the unsub posted the video - that site which caters to the sexually perverse - becomes a person of interest in that she probably knows the unsub and/or he is trying to get her attention. When they are able to find a connection between the victims and the women who received packages, they may be able to discover not only the identity of the unsub and his motivation, but who the next target will be, namely the gift he wants to provide to Galina. Through this case, Simmons and his wife Kristy have to deal with an issue concerning their usually sensitive son, David, who hit one of his classmates. Their initial thought is that he acting out has something to do with the trauma Kristy went through in her hostage situation.—Huggo
