The short film is a prologue to the feature length script "Damocles", also written by Tyler Hickman.
Actor Ryan Davenport gave himself a black eye while trying to use his prop AK-47. As he slung it over his shoulder, the prop bounced up and the magazine hit him directly under the eye. Production did not stop, nor was any makeup applied to hide it.
Due to a last minute issue, there wasn't a designated sound engineer on location during the time of filming. Instead, actor Nate Loftin took over most of the recording duties on the days of filming when he wasn't in the shot.
The warehouse this short film takes place in is one of the oldest in North Carolina. It was originally used as a cotton mill in the 19th century, but is now mainly used as a storage warehouse.
Garrett Hickman, Mack Matheson, and Tyler Hickman each played more than one bad guy. With a costume change including a ski mask, they alternated roles to shore up the numbers of the enemy forces.
