Angry birds and high libidos

Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed the intentional schlockiness of this movie. The chicken puppets were fun. The effects and acting were appropriate for the b movie vibe. I laughed hard at the chicken sex-ed news broadcast. There was an uncomfortable amount of chicken-human relations. I lost the plot by the end but honestly I think that was also intentional. There was blood and gore. There was horny people making out at the weirdest times which also added to the humor and charm. Overall I think this was a charming film that knew what it wanted to be. The jokes came across reasonably well. I think it's a fun tongue in cheek homage to a b horror movie.

Giving B-Movies a Bad Name Since 2015
rebeltaz-1870530 July 2023
Apparently, this is the "feature length movie" version of a short film of the same name done in 2015. I didn't know that until now. I read the synopsis and thought this would be a fun movie. I enjoy a little comedy with my horror. Too bad that isn't what this is.

Someone else said about this "I was expecting something cheap and tacky and schlocky and trashy..." Yeah. That about says it all. This thing is so low budget, they couldn't even afford to shoot the opening scene in a video store ... in even a replica set of a video store. The two "actors" are in front of a green screen with a video store scene projected behind them. That should have been enough to warn me away from this, but no... I had to be stubborn and sit through another 15 minutes of this torture.

All of the "actors" are unattractive, overacting hacks. The "script" is non-existing nonsense. The "chickens" are felt puppets that make a sock puppet look high tech. There is not a single positive thing I can say about this "movie" other than the fact that I was able to turn it off.

No, movies do not need a big budget to be good, but they do need SOME KIND of budget!

such a camp fun film!

Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed this way more than i should have

my favourite death was Teresa Hui, her demise was like being in a theatre watching an operetta! I loved it!

You should all check this film out, it's so fun.

The puppets are pretty neat too, and for an indie it is quite well shot.

I was expecting something cheap and tacky and schlocky and trashy and I actually got something even better.

I dunno, I just can't explain it, just trust me - watch Attack of theKiller Chickens: the Movie, please. It's like every early Jon Waters/Divine movie mixed into the best Troma-style movies, with extra glitter!

I'm off now to eat a chicken burger, wish me luck

ps the Gacy style clown character was a nice nod.
