How could the writers end the story this way? A woman with a gambling addiction who lies her way through every conceivable misstep, jeopardising her children' safety, losing thousands of pounds in the process, losing her home, her job, stealing another £50,000 from a criminal syndicate, only to find salvation in shorting on an insider trading certainty and lives happily ever after??? SHE SHOULD BE IN GAOL! What sort of a message does this send to gambling addicts? Shame, shame, shame.
Acting performances first class, but the ending was unconscionable.
