Akari Amano has heard rumours about a doll like girl living in the woods near her home so investigates and gets lost. She is found by Sophie Twilight, a girl who fits the description... and happens to be a three hundred and sixty year old vampire. Sophie takes her home and not only do they become friends but Akari moves in with her... luckily for her Sophie is a modern vampire who orders her blood online rather than acquiring it the traditional way. Later they are joined by Sophie's old friend Ellie and Akari's friend Hinata.
One might expect a series about vampires to have an element of horror at the very least but this almost entirely avoids it. Instead it is a cute story about four friends, two of whom just happen to be vampires. For the most part it follows the standard vampire rules, even if the coffin Sophie sleeps in has a large cross on it. The various things they get up to are fun to watch and provide a few laughs. The character designs are suitably cute and the animation is solid. Overall this might not be anything special it is cute and rather fun while watching.
