Marvel fans are surely still reeling from the onslaught of superhero-sized announcements from Disney’s jam-packed investor day. To kick off the four-hour presentation, Disney’s distribution chief Kareem Daniel announced on Thursday that 10 new Marvel series would be coming to Disney Plus in the next few years, along with previously announced shows like “WandaVision” and “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” that are debuting in just a few months. New series like “Armor Wars” and “Secret Invasion” are also joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, bringing big-screen favorites like Don Cheadle’s War Machine and Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury to the small screen.

Disney’s news-packed Investor Day provided first glimpse at Loki, Marvel’s upcoming series starring Tom Hiddleston as the trickster demi-god and brother to Thor.
In the series, which will premiere in May 2021, Hiddleston returns as the mercurial Loki, the Asgardian god of mischief and everyone’s favorite Marvel villain, in stories that take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Like all Marvel shows for Disney+, Loki is executive produced by studio chief Kevin Feige, who presented the clip, featuring Owen Wilson, and announced the premiere date. The series’ writer, Michael Waldron, and director, Kate Herron, also executive produce.
“Glorious.”

Where did Loki disappear to after grabbing that Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame? Disney+ has answered that question in the first full-length trailer for Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston as his Marvel Cinematic Universe character.
The three-minute trailer, embedded below, reveals that the God of Mischief is now in the custody of the Tva — the Time Variance Authority, per Marvel Comics canon — and trades in his usual cape for all sorts of different garb as he evades baddies.

Disney Plus has unveiled the first trailer for its new series, “Loki,” centering on the Marvel Cinematic Universe villain.
The series will debut in May 2021, it was announced during the Disney Investor Day on Thursday.
The upcoming series will star Tom Hiddleston, who will reprise the titular role from the McU. Hiddleston, who was last seen absconding with one of the Infinity Stones in “Avengers: Endgame,” will now face magic popping up at different times in history and influencing major events.
Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Sophia Di Martino will also star in the series with Hiddleston. Also making an appearance is longtime British actor Richard E. Grant, whose role is still being kept under wraps. Sources told Variety in March that he will make a guest appearance in a single episode of the series.

Whether it’s the Devil sitting down at the piano in his penthouse or Lilith belting out a tune in a 1940’s club, music has always played an integral role in the Lucifer gestalt. With a full blown musical episode planned for the second half of season five, and the noir homage “It Never Ends Well for the Chicken” already in the books, it’s time to reflect on some of the fantastic musical choices showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich have made.
Series lead Tom Ellis (Lucifer) has sung on multiple occasions during the show’s five year run, and in an interview with DaMan, he could barely contain his excitement for the upcoming musical episode. “It was by far and away the most fun I have had doing anything on a set ever! Singing and dancing makes me very happy.”

Welcome to this week’s SmackDown review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a big Gauntlet Match to get to, so…
Match #1: Bayley & Sasha Banks def. Naomi & Lacey Evans The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The unlikely duo of Naomi & Lacey Evans caught Bayley and the returning Sasha Banks last week on Friday Night SmackDown, defeating them in tag team action, but the SmackDown Women’s Champion & The Boss looked to retaliate tonight in this rematch. Naomi received a much-needed tag from Lacey and went on a tear, launching herself over the top rope to wipe out Bayley and pulverizing Sasha with a series of blistering kicks. Naomi went for the split-legged moonsault, but Bayley interfered from the apron, and Sasha took advantage by striking with Meteora to defeat The Glow.
My Opinion: 2.4 out of 5 – Hey, at least Bayley/Sasha Banks won. This wasn’t worth watching.

Ah, just as the two-part finale of the 18th season of Bravo’s “Project Runway” is right around the corner, it is time for the avant-garde challenge. It will decide which two designers will not be making a collection for New York Fashion Week since everyone was declared safe on the previous episode. The only show staple that strikes greater fear in the designers is when the unconventional materials start flying about the workroom.
The inspiration for the challenge is a newish New York City landmark known as the Vessel, or as my fellow editor Daniel Montgomery calls it, the Glorious Space Pine Cone. In a preview, we first see mentor Christian Siriano asking Nancy Volpe-Beringer what she is up to. She is making some kind of fabric for her piece, but she doesn’t seem to have a concrete idea yet.

While fans are undoubtedly excited about the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, its release does mean the end of an era. And we don't just mean the end of the three-trilogy Skywalker saga! In an interview with Variety, the trio at the center of the final trilogy - Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Oscar Isaac - were asked about starring in future Star Wars projects, and the answers don't leave much room for hope.
"As long as Daisy and Oscar are down for it, then I'll come back," Boyega allowed, but he has his limitations. "You ain't going to Disney Plus me! I'm watching it, though, but I'll stay in the feature films."

Macklemore is getting a musical message from the other side. On Thursday's new episode of Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry, the Grammy-winning rapper gets a reading he'll never forget. "I am curious if there's anything coming from any one of my friends that has passed," the "Glorious" crooner asks Tyler Henry is this preview clip. Tyler immediately connects to the spirit of a young man plagued by substance abuse. "This person didn't necessarily take more than they were used to," Tyler says. "There's something weird because I feel like before [they passed] there had been this period where they hadn't abused drugs and their tolerance went...
