Far too slow.
Mark_a_Wood20 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The pacing of this new BBC One antiques programme is so slow. The opening segment in which we are introduced to the episode's two participants as they look around an antiques shop or fair but don't actually buy anything is completely pointless and we also get vt packages of them at home. It takes far to long to get to the actual buying, selling and learning about the antiques.

Paul Martin does his usual solid job as presenter/expert and former Blue Peter presenter Mark Curry does a reasonable job on commentary with some groan worthy puns thrown in for good measure. There have also been some fun and quirky contestants. But as a whole this is an underwhelming watch.

Who cares? A rather dull program
franknieu12 November 2018
Why replace a watchable program about Antiques with this lacklustre series. It's a step backwards watching unknown characters trying to learn how to buy from dealers. With both parties being filmed it ends up being rather crass and bears no comparison with the real world.

Paul Martin is not objective
julianruso27 November 2018
Sorry, Paul Martin has passed his out of date. His repetitive expressions are boring, it's very clear who his favourite is from the beginning. It's enough! He should start selling vegetables in the market now

Cheap Rubbish
blanchefury23 November 2018
Yet another cheap, staged antique show with a supposed competition element. The difference being that the BBC figured out a way of making it even less expensive to make - get rid of the auctioneers and replace them with even less convincing members of the public. In view of the budget, The only mystery is why they kept presenter Paul Martin (he featured on the highest paid talent list of 2017).

Lazy, predictable and boring

An idiotic format for a show presented by the affable and likeable Paul Martin (what was he thinking ?). The 'price negotiation' is often cringeworthy. The show's as dodgy as the title

Paul Martin doesn't make profits on his flog it guesses! Why on earth is he qualified to judge? Paul Laidlaw I'd understand but this is just awful program

Programme is ok, but...
bob-11351 August 2019
For the first couple of episodes it was fine, but then they went full Wonnacott and let the narrator completely ruin it by his CONSTANT YACKING !!!!!!!!!! I'm shouting at the tv here screaming at him to SHUT UP!!!!! I felt like reaching into the tv to rip his face off. We have finally got rid of the awful Wonnacott please shut this man up and let us enjoy the programme.

Dreadfull and cringy

I love antiques programmes especially flog it.But this is excruciating. The amateur dealers are uncomfortable to watch and some are extremely arrogant and cheeky bordering on rude when trying to get down prices. And usualy they do not take Pauls advice! I dont know how he keeps his mouth shut !

dreadfully boring rubbish
weareone-6820124 October 2019
The BBC in all its wisdom has replaced the highly successful Flog it with this tripe I like Paul Martin but this programme is nowhere near the entertainment value of Flog it . Its totally boring involving amateur dealers trying to sell junk. I would rather watch hundreds of Flog it! repeats than one of these dreadful shows. So I'm going elsewhere
