Hippocratic Oath much?

Warning: Spoilers
Do nurses take the Hippocratic Oath? Because April sure doesn't act like it. She got grazed by a bullet. And of course she acts like a c u next Tuesday to Choi because he's being a doctor to the guy who shot her! I mean, I understand that she's upset, totally get that. But Choi can't not save the dudes life. Dude who shot April is an incel and angry about not having sex. It seems kinda done before, probably because Law and Order SVU did an episode. Another annoying part was when Natalie freaked out on Will for having a gun. I really hate when sceenwriters push an agenda. However, I did like Oliver Platt and his student dealing with depression. And even the blonde nurse talking about it. Oh and I liked Natalie bonding with the guy whose wife died, very sad.

Jumping the shark

In a show that is already pretty melodramatic, this episode was difficult to choke down. EVERY story line was over the top ridiculous. I would have to watch it again (not going to unless paid very well to do so) but I think what made it more obvious and insufferable was the short length of the scenes. It made the 180 turns in the characters so jarring. I like the cast but this was so poorly written, edited and directed. I'm calling it the turning point toward cancellation, right now.
