- Beginning of the journey in a great public park of Montreal: Raphaël walks through the park and meets Catherine Planet who is playing violin: they walk and reach a terrace with a beautiful sight over Montréal, the Saint-Laurent River and very far the mountains of the United States.Then they walk through the Vieux-Montréal and arrive at the neighborhood of Rosement-La Petite Patrie: they look at the famous stairs and balconies and then there is music (Chasse Balcon): Catherine and her friends play music ans sing on the a balcony, the people are dancing in the gardens.On the next day Raphaël meets Eric Gagnon, who has a collection of old cars: Raphaël rents a VW Combi and drives towards the Laurentides.At the Centre Kanatha-Aki Raphaël meets Stéphane Denis who will be his guide: they go to the place of the beavers: there are many mosquitoes and Stéphane shows him a traditional repellent (rubbing the saliva of a frog against the skin and the mosquitoes go away): later they see a herd of bison and they meet Dominique Rankin, the Algonquin chef.Dominiquewho tells about his life and his relationship with the nature : Raphaël and Dominique make a canoe trip on a lake: they make a fire and dance for thanking the spirits of the nature to be in that nice place.After that Raphaël is again in Rosemont-La Petite Patrie: he meets Judith Colombo a volunteer of "Santropol roulant": a project of growing organic vegetables and spices (lettuce, basil) on the roof of a building , of preparing and delivering food to people: walking with Judith they look at the urban art and then deliver a meal to a couple of seniors.Later Raphaël meets Franka Tremblay, they visit a bagel bakery : at night there is a spectacle in the Basilica of Notre Dame: on the morning Raphaël meets again Franka: there is a great parade, Franka and other circus acrobats are enjoying the audience who communicate with them by cell phone. Besides we see zooms about the beaches of the Saint-Laurent river , about the surfing in the river, about the spa-boat, about the house moving on the first of July, about the survival course in the forest, about the Zoo-Ecomuseum at Sainte-Anne de Bellevue, about the lake monster at the lake "Memphrémagog" about the forest cabins , about the Foresta Lumina spectacle and about the 281 Club with its male stripteasers and its feminine audience.—zutterjp48
