What a trip of a movie!

Warning: Spoilers
If you come to this one "totally virgin", maybe you will totally enjoy the menu this one offers. But later on, you realize it is really difficult to explain it without spoiling it.

This one it is a revenge flick based in Taiwan. But if I describe it like this, after half an hour you would be totally dissapointed just because, the first hour, this behaves like a "familiar drama": a successful writer whose wife is like a stranger in his life. In the first section of the film, in black and white, we can empathize with him, feeling sorry about the fact of the loneliness he lives in his marriage. But, bit by bit, as the photography changes into color, we discover some past behaviors which, not being totally reprehensible, are few steps behind from the picture of a "good husband" the first minutes drew. And it is just in the moment we are thinking about this aspect of the character when the fan-fatale appears.

I am not going to follow further from this point, but from this moment on, the movie changes into totally different and serves as the rape-and-revenge flick we were told it is.

The ending is wonderful, as it draws a double-revenge on this "nice-husband-and-father" the beginning of the movie showed us, but the facts we discover from the appearing of the fan-fatale blur.

Summarizing. Very recommended for fans of rape-and-revenge fans as for the ones searching for something really thrilling and suspenseful.
