Having watched hundreds of mostly mediocre Penthouse video releases over the years, I was pleasantly surprised to see two recent European-shot features from the label that are top-notch entertainment: this one by Frank Major (aka Franck Vicomte) and "Amnesia" by actress turned director Rebecca Lord.
Major has been making some fine DVDs for Marc Dorcel lately, and this one is just as good. It concerns a nuclear family of four that recently moved into a new neighborhood, and the teen daughter played by newcomer Olivia Nice provides voice-over narration that carries the entire story line. Cast is mainly silent, except for the great Euro star Nikky Thorne speaking some English in the final reel.
We see each of the four have sex with their new neighbors, plus top-billed Shona River as a young neighbor seen having sex by Olivia's voyeuristic mom Cherry Kiss, who is spotlighted as cover girl for the DVD's marketing campaign.
Reminding me of the JoyBear pantomime approach to porn, the sex scenes are natural and extremely well-shot and played. Olivia is quite a find, her buxom beauty utterly different from both extremes in current Adult Cinema representation of feminity: none of the silicone fakeness of the MILF brigade and quite a departure from the thin waifs of today's jail-bait ranks.
