I saw this as part of an incredibly strong selection of animation shorts at the Satisfied Eye International Film Festival and The Fox and The Bird was one that stood out for all the right reasons. Beautifully realised, visually stunning and with a narrative that deftly balances drama, humour and pathos, it's an absolute bravura piece of work. I watched the film with a young audience who sat completely silent and transfixed - and anyone who has watched animation with children knows this NEVER happens! Every moment, every beat, struck the perfect note and it's a real masterclass in animation that appeals to both children and adults alike.

The music represents basic virtue of this charming, in profound sense, story about improvised fatherhood, survive, friendship, trust and freedom. The second- the craft. Not less, the delicate- refreshing storytelling. A film for each age , with powerful and precise specific message. Not an original story but a real seductive one, reminding not only the air of childhood, when the noble gestures are more natural than expressions of instincts, but the fair way to discover a sort of sweet - bitter joy. Short, just lovely.
A fox whose life changed with love

This animation has many beautiful messages, some of which I will write about:
1- Beaver are the same power holders who are never satisfied and are greedy and used to stealing from each other.
2- A fatherly feeling is not only for his child and his fellow man. But we must also have this feeling towards the children of others.
3- You can still trust in this world full of tricks. You can find a friend. You can love and support someone.
4- If you do good, there will be a day when your goodness will be compensated. In a way that can affect your life.
5. The presence of a new random person in life can bring us a new sense of value, happiness and freedom. All these features symbolize a blue bird. A bird that is also a symbol of love and innocence.

Timeless Story For A New Generation

A fox finds the joys of foster fathering a newly hatched baby bird. It is a timeless story for a new generation of friendship, survival and trust. In the end, the bird finds his real family and the fox is left alone again but with a new sense of worth, happiness and freedom. A lovely animation.
