the Church
Kirpianuscus2 September 2021
The great virtue of this episode is the image of Russian Greek -Orthodox Church. Alexander Ustyugov, as Patriarch Filaret,Pyotr Zaichenko as Patriarch Ermogen are the admirable creators of two portraits defining the events after chaos. Admirable performance of Daria Ursulyak, giving to Ksenia Godunova inspired , fair nuances. I saw each episode as a reflection of contemporary Russia. As definition of the behavior of people and rules defining the politics of the leaders. Impressive sounds as easy definition, too superficial. But it is just a wise crafted series, telling the story in honest manner, maybe, in many situations in hurry way but with high preocupation for details resurrected a world. So, just special. And the attention to the contribution of men of Church in salvation of motherland is one of the significant virtues.

The episode 9 It is the last episode of the serie. And it is just you expect. The rise of Romanov dinasty, end of the stories of characters , end of the Period of Troubles. The great virtue - the dialogue between the Patriarch Philaret and Pole Chancelier. And , sure, the return to home of the first. Difficult to define this serie in fair way. It is impressive, just impressive for many motives. But , not ignoring the mistakes , it is a series for today. Maybe a warning, maybe a lesson. Short, its great good point remains the art to explore, in more than decent way, a very delicate subject of Russia front to modernity.
