• Patrick Brewer : [Patrick rides piggyback on David's back]  David, I'm fine!

  David Rose : You were limping. And, the hike would have made it worse. Plus you don't want to know what my mother will do if you showed up for the opening night and you couldn't walk.

  [David drops Patrick on a fallen log] 

  David Rose : Well, this is nice.

  Patrick Brewer : I wouldn't have made you hike this far if I didn't think it was worth it. I think I know you a little better than that.

  David Rose : Okay, so how should I set up the picnic?

  Patrick Brewer : Yeah, I think it might be a little late for that. Why don't we take in the view and then we'll save the picnic for another day?

  David Rose : I didn't carry you up a mountain to not eat cheese after.

  Patrick Brewer : I don't know David?

  David Rose : Okay just tell me what to do and I'll set it up?

  Patrick Brewer : Okay, in the red bag there's a blanket. Open that up and spread it out.

  David Rose : Okay.

  [David spreads the blanket out] 

  Patrick Brewer : In the second bag, there's a bundle of crackers and cheese.

  David Rose : [after David reveals a bottle of champagne]  Excusez moi?

  Patrick Brewer : And a bottle of champagne. And if you look in that pocket right there you'll find something else.

  David Rose : [David opens up the pocket and finds a box inside the pocket, he then begins to giggle excitedly as Patrick drops to his knee]  What's going on?

  Patrick Brewer : So, I used to come on this hike when I first moved here. And I was developing feelings for this guy that I went into business with and I didn't know what to do about it because I didn't know if he had the same feelings or if I'd ever been able to muster up the courage to tell him how I feel about him? And here he is, the love of my life, standing right in front of me. I thought that this would be the perfect place to ask you to marry me?

  David Rose : [Continues to break down emotionally]  What? Are you sure?

  Patrick Brewer : Easiest decision of my life.

  [David and Patrick kiss each other and start to giggle excitedly] 

  David Rose : [Opens the box to reveal five gold rings that match the silver rings that he's wearing on each of his fingers]  Are these 24 kt? Yes! It's a yes!

  [Kisses Patrick] 

  David Rose : I love you!

  [They continue to kiss each other and giggle excitedly] 

• Patrick Brewer : Ooh! Ooh!

  [Patrick steps on a big tree branch] 

  David Rose : Where's the bear?

  Patrick Brewer : I just stepped on a tree branch. It must have gone through my shoe!

  David Rose : How do you know it went through your shoe?

  [Patrick lifts up his leg to reveal a tree branch going through his shoe] 

  David Rose : Okay, calm down. Let's go sit over there

  Patrick Brewer : It went right through the soft part!

  David Rose : I can see that!

• David Rose : Let's go over there.

  Patrick Brewer : You've got to pull it out, David!

  David Rose : Okay, on the count of 3. 1-2-3!

  [David pulls the branch out of Patrick's foot] 

  David Rose : Where's the first aid kit?

  Patrick Brewer : I didn't bring one.

  David Rose : Okay, take your shoe off.

  Patrick Brewer : What's that?

  David Rose : [Patrick takes his shoe and sock off]  It's hand sanitizer. Did you think that I would go anywhere without it? I'm just going to put some of this on here.

  Patrick Brewer : Thanks.

  David Rose : Yeah, I'm sorry that I haven't been more fun.
