Live Free or Die Hard (2007)
Best Action Movie in a long long time
The most flattering thing to me about this movie is the fact that CGI was barely there, leaving a bare-bones in your face old school action movie. I was as worried as the next die-hard fan when I heard they were making a 4th, and then even more worried when it was cut to pg-13, still I came out of the theater tonight extremely pleased, even with extremely high hopes and I was not let down one bit, sure some of the "blood and gunshot" scenes were trimmed, but that just gives us a unrated DVD to look forward to. The pace was excellent, the effects awesome, the comic relief great, the movie just worked on almost every level. I mean how often can you say that the 4th chapter of a movie franchise is fantastic?, Not much, but with live free or die hard you certainly can.
5 Dead on the Crimson Canvas (1996)
The best horror flick ever
A really great film. Lots of suspense and scares. This is an exceedingly terrifying movie with great character developing. I highly recommend this movie which will make you shake with excitement but tremble with fear
Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998)
Worthy of "holy" praise
Halloween H20 : Twenty Years later is a excellent slasher movie which continues in the holy (to many) Halloween saga. It is the second best out of the series of seven with the first obviously reigning. The suspense grasps one and holds tight. Cleverly planned out scenes result in a truly classic film worthy of the Halloween title. If you liked Halloween or Scream you will like this. The next time you're writing your "to do" list scribble this film title down under your "must see" column.
