Great Expectations (1999 TV Movie)
Visually Stunning!
14 December 2001
Director Julian Jarrold does a truly excellent job of bringing Charles Dickens' finest novel to the screen. Filled with haunting camera angles, a magnificent score by Peter Salem, and superb acting by Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd and Justine Waddall, this version of GREAT EXPECTATIONS is defintly worth multiple viewings!!

Marnie (1964)
"Confusing, yet entertating masterpiece!"
16 December 2000
"MARNIE returns back to the theme of Hitch's earlier SPELLBOUND. This film is rather confusing, due to its strange, haunting plot centered around Marnie (Tippi Hedren) who is a compulsive thief. The first time I viewed the film, I asked myself, "What is the point?"! Never the less, you MUST watch this movie more than once to appreciate its excellent camera work and directing by the master himself. Give this one a chance!"

Excellent remake with a great twist to the end!
6 August 1999
Most people would think that this film would be a gross gore fest because of Tom Savini directing, but they are WRONG! "Night '90" features a good cast of chracters that are pretty much like the original, except for Barbara. In the original, Barbara had a good shock at the beginning then sat on the couch for the rest of the movie. In this film, Barbara is rambo! The end to the film was a shocker indeed!

The Last Wave (1977)
One film that relies on the story and mood!
15 July 1999
THE LAST WAVE is an excellent film that has a non-stop mystery that you can not stop watching! This is one movie that has a cast of characters that you care about and feel as if it is happening to you! This film proves that its possible to make a good horror movie without buckets of blood and outrageous special effects! I believe that THE LAST WAVE is one of the best films of mystery ever made and should be considered a film classic!

This is the BEST adaption i've ever seen of TREASURE ISLAND!
6 July 1999
I love this film! It is so great! I was sitting on my couch eating Ruffles potato chips when this film called TREASURE ISLAND came on! I was caught up in it all the way! I especially love the way Maria Rohm plays Mrs. Hawkins! She is so sinister in her role that it makes me glad! I hope that this film will come on again! I love the smell of it!

Smells Great!
3 July 1999
This movie is great! I love the way Maria Rohm acts as her part of Dr. Hondorus! It makes me think of hot summer days when the sun is setting and everyone believes in turkey sandwiches. I also believe this movie is the best film ever made! It shows how good of a director Steven Speilberg is! I hope some day that they'll release this on video! I will buy every copy available!

An excellent film!
21 May 1999
I gotta tell 'ya! I have seen many horror films in my life, but none other than like DAWN OF THE DEAD! It was so gory and graphic that it would make you believe you were really there. This film has inspired me and my friends for years! We like to make our short movies and edit them. But, after seeing DAWN OF THE DEAD, we started making our own zombie films. I myself, am a George Romero idol and really admire his low-budget films. They give my friends and I ambition to go on in our filmmaking. Maybe someday we too will hit big!

The most chilling, suspensful, and most excellent horror film ever made!
21 May 1999
NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD is the absoloute best horror film made by the master of horror films, George Romero. From the very first scene of the cemetery, you can tell that you are in for a scary movie! I love the black and white shots, the music score, and the make-up!The greatest part about NOTLD is that it proved that a good movie can be made without spending millions. This film opened a new door to horror films! I believe that if this film was not made, horror films would not have gotten to where they are today.

Count Dracula (1970)
10/10
"My favorite Christopher Lee film of all time."
14 March 1999
This film has many flaws and gaffs but that makes it all the more interesting! "Count Dracula" has a superior atmosphere and direction by Jess Franco. Christopher Lee gives an excellent performance as Dracula and Klaus Kinski is fantastic as the insane Renfield! This film is forgotten by today's film history and most people pass it as being a cheap, beyond low-budget horror film, but I see it through a different light.

Herbert Lom makes Dr. Van-Helsing so interesting, you can't stop watching. Another great thing about the film was the dark and gloomy sets such as the Borgo Pass and Castle Dracula.

The score for the film was superb, and it goes right together with the fantastic film.

I hope the people who read this take my word and just watch, "Count Dracula", for what it is. It's a film that shouldn't be forgotton.
