Not a bad movie to rent.
26 July 2000
Pretty good murder mystery to rent on a rainy afternoon. A business woman's co-workers die one by one after she meets a mysterious stranger at a club. The club scenes were very interesting. The film does keep you guessing until the end. The only thing that bothered me was that the woman never locked her door. My husband and I were actually screaming at TV "Lock your door already!" Other than that, it kept your attention and was full of suspense. As for the acting, the killer (I won't say who it was) was very good, as was the cop. The other actors were okay. Not a bad movie overall.

Best version of Huckleberry Finn I've ever seen.
22 March 2000
I saw this back in the early 80's on Showtime's "Mark Twain Theater". Since it was a series, there was enough time to capture details in the book very accurately. In fact, it was quite true to the book. It was enjoyable to watch, for young children and adults as well. The young actors were all very good, especially Ian Tracey as Huck Finn. I wish it would be on again so I could show it to my children. As far as I know, it is not available on video.
