Bio-Dome (1996)
Only a mindless imbecile could laugh at this
Or possibly an 8 year old boy. This was one of the most absurd movies that I have ever. Now I'm not the kind of guy who hates all slapstick comedies. I actually love a few of them, such as Jackass, but this movie has to be one of the worst I have ever seen. I didn't laugh at ONE JOKE! This coming from someone who enjoys comedies. Not one laugh. Don't listen to these people who are praising this movie because they either a) set VERY VERY low standards or b) are mentally challenged. Pass this one up. Go watch Brady Bunch in the White House instead.
The Brady Bunch in the White House (2002)
Typical Brady's tripe.
The storyline was absurd, as was the wardrobe, but a few of Alice's scenes kept it semi-watchable for me. Some minor spoilers may follow here. The story was your run of the mill Brady ordeal, but it got out of hand once Carol was chosen by Mike to be Vice President, which is of course illegal. The first lady, or man, cannot be the second in command. Putting that aside, the bits with the kids were lame. Although Jan's insanity was entertaining. The rest of them were bland. It was interesting though when Greg asked Marcia how she would feel if the two of them had to jumpstart the human civilization and then she lunged to kiss him. Disturbing stuff there. The end of the movie was rushed and had almost nothing to do with the plot leading up to it. Alice was the highlight of the show though. I suggest she lead in the next Brady movie.
A Night at the Roxbury (1998)
Funny movie, drags in the middle.
**Minor Spoilers**
The movie can be summed up in 3 parts.
The Beginning: From the theme song to when Doug and Steve fight in the van is great. The music is still fresh, almost all the gags are funny. I had about 5 or 6 laugh out loud moments. Most of which happened during the hilarious opening segment.
The Middle: This is when it starts to get a little ugly. Doug and Steve just aren't funny unless they are together. Steve's interaction with Emily is worth a few chuckles, but nothing more than that. Doug just drags along when he is alone.
The End: This is when Doug comes out with the boom box to interrupt the wedding. Everything from here to the end is great again. Doug and Steve have a sappy, yet funny conversation and the final club scene is also fun to watch.
Overall: 5/10
Mr. B Natural (1957)
I'm confused and scared...
I also just watched the MST3K version. This had to be one of the most disturbing films I have ever seen. Was Mr. B a man? Was Buzz a kid who was afraid to make friends and fit in? What was CONN Instruments thinking when they made this. The strange homosexual/identity confusion alone should make no one in their right mind even consider playing an instrument.
