I remember seeing this film all too well. Geordie Pete and me had been drinking in the afternoon, we were pretty drunk and the last thing he said to me was Ninth Configurations on tonight. I came too sweating alchohol into my bed and switched on the tv with my toe. It was perfect timing. I was greeted by one of the best opening shots of all time. This movie is great. It's one to go into with no expectations. Just blank your mind and let it take you on it's crazy 70's cinema ride. God will they ever make smart films again? Pete said it would be an eye opener, He wasn't wrong. God bless you Pete. PS. Did Alan Moore steal bits for Watchmen?

Geordie Pete turned me onto this film a few months ago. He had a pirate copy from some film geek mate in LA, as usual for Pete it was second generation and the sound was ropey, but he swore it was one of the best films of the nineties. We scoffed, but after a few beers we slapped it on. We p***** ourselves laughing. I looked forward to it's cinema release. I was shocked by the reaction of the british press, it was called "possibly the worst british film ever made" if that's not a recamendation I don't know what is. After suffering through the dreary War Zone which the press loved I don't trust them as far as I could throw them. Yes, it is a heist gone wrong film, I can't get enough of them. It's completley over the top and works perfectly with a crate of beer. Dondadda!!!

Good to see a mob movie that didn't end with people pointing guns at each other ala City on Fire. Lots of Mameting about which always warms my soul. Looking forward to next flick from this team.
