Trade-Off (1995)
A passionate affair plants the seed for an unexpected murder
Theresa Russell stars as Jackie, a mysterious, beautiful woman who seduces Thomas Hughes ( Adam Baldwin), an unhappily married businessman. I really enjoyed this movie and think it is worth your time when you have nothing else to watch. If you enjoy thrillers this one is worth watching. It seemed more like the series detective Columbo.
Hunter's Blood (1986)
If you like movies like Deliverance you will enjoy this one.
Hunter's Blood was not as good as Deliverance but was still worth watching. Tough, no-nonsense thriller in the mould of Deliverance. A fanatical vision of horror and torment, HUNTER'S BLOOD brings a "Deliverance" quality of fear to the forest. It's deadly, explosive entertainment.
The Ghoul (1975)
The family hides a secret.
Set in England in the 1930's, the story opens at a fashionable party at a luxurious mansion a few miles from the southern coast. Prodded by other guests, Geoffrey and Billy decide to race their motorcars to the seashore at Land's End.
Their route crosses the Moors, where Daphne and Billy become lost in the fog and run out of fuel.
Then Billy is found dead. Daphne has vanished. Geoffrey and Angela begin a search that leads them to a mansion on the Moor ... and then the horrible secret unfolds.
I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase the movie, but if you find it at a flea market for a couple of bucks it is worth watching.
The Beast Within (1982)
This was a great movie!
I am glad I purchased this movie. At first I wasn't even going to watch it I was going to trade it for another movie, but it took me 6 months to track this down at a flea market. I purchased it along with The last house on the left and both will be added to my collection.
All I can say about this movie has already been said by everyone else. You may be able to rent it but try to find an original copy for sale, very scarce.
Graduation Day (1981)
Don't waste your time!
The cover says taut suspense, heart-stopping shocks and mystery are all awaiting Graduation Day. I found none of the above in this movie and I feel that it was a waste of time to watch.
One scene that did make me laugh was at the end of the movie. Anne is lying in bed and when her step-father comes through the door you can see that the hallway is nothing more than a sheet draped up to resemble a wall. Talk about a low budget film!
