The Good Man's Sin (1999)
See it - good little first film! Well directed, written, acted
The Good Man's Sin is a great little student film!! Written; produced; and directed by first time director Peter Sullivan, this film is his thesis from NYU (I learned all this from the Press Kit). Check out the great performances by Steven Kozlowski (as Brendan) Richard Clark (as Thomas) and Alexandra Boylan (as Andrea). The cast of unknowns is great in this gritty tale of crime, corruption, and family set against the backdrop of Boston's "Southie." The cinematography by unknown DP Alex Baker is also great for a student film. All in all, "The Good Man's Sin" is VERY professional. This director definitely has talent and shows much more promise than, let's say, Bret Ratner did in his NYU Student short - "Whatever Happened to Mason Reese" I'm looking forward to seeing more films from this up and comer and would certainly reccommend it for your view
